Here’s a listing of some of the undocumented fixes…one in particular that I found most annoying was:
“ASP.NET Session State Service settings are not preserved when you upgrade” – in reference to any hotfixes or patches applied to .NET. This bug drove us crazy after doing upgrades because we’d have to remember to turn the state server back on. Oddly enough, .NET 1.1 SP1 reset the state server settings…maybe its for the future?
